Many people ask me, “Gisela, where is the best place to live in San Diego?”
I usually ask them, “what’s important to you in a home and neighborhood?” Because my opinion is going to be different then theirs, so I’d rather know what they like and then start consulting from there.

The video above is a lovely home in a desirable community in Rancho San Diego. This home features a bedroom downstairs and a full bathroom which is important when you have a guest or extended family members living with you. Vaulted ceilings which give the home lots of light and space. The three bedroom upstairs are ample in size. Great location and inviting community of Corte Madera. Location has also been a great place to invest due to high demand for rentals in the area. Sellers are motivated and just dropped the price down by $20,000. Homes in this area sell between $400,000 – $700,000. This home is listed just under $500,000.

I’ll personally be hosting an Open House there this Saturday from 10:30 – 1:30 pm. Come on in and I’ll give you a Buyers Package or Sellers Package, to get you on your Goal Path!

OPEN HOUSE:
Saturday, Sept. 6th at 10:30 am
2533 Sawgrass, El Cajon, California 92019

Sales Down for 2014 but Improve in 2015; Price Continues to Grow this Year and Next Year. According to California Association or Realtors.

Many people often wonder if it’s a good time to buy or sell real estate. I often say it’s always a good time, just as long as you find what you are looking for and if you net what you need.
Real estate investing is all about timing. People like to wait for spring time to buy or sell but as a seller or buyer you can really miss out on that home that your heart desires. Also, during spring time their are a lot of competition with both buyers and sellers. But during Fall and Winter the mass of people looking to sell or buy slows down which can benefit for either party.

If you would like to keep updated on a particular neighborhood or city, contact me and I will create a personal search that will send you up to date properties. This way you become familiar with the real estate market of your choice and well informed in your area.

Getting you on the GOAL Path to Homeownership is what I do best!

Is lack of Courage hindering your growth?

Yesterday, I was on the airplane on our way back from our honeymoon in Cancun, I felt God telling me to talk to the man sitting next to me. I had a feeling he wasn’t going to speak any English and my Spanish isn’t the greatest but I could feel God presence encouraging me to “be Bold and Courageous and ask the man if he knows Jesus Christ.”

So, I did. I took a deep breath and asked God to guide this conversation, not knowing where it was going to go and I asked the man in Spanish, “¿Conoces a Jesús Cristo?” The man looked at me and paused and said in Spanish I know of him but do not know him. We talked for about 30 minutes about God and having a personal relationship with him out of love not by force or by religion but just out of love and friendship. It was a great conversation, I later found out this man’s name was Jesús.

Now, I don’t know what this man was left thinking after our conversation only God does. But the point of this matter is, if we don’t act in Boldness and with Courage, how do we expect people or circumstances to change? God called us so that he can use us. You will not be used if you don’t step out of your comfort zone.

So if you desire change at work, in your home, or a relationship, be courageous and ask God to direct your words so that you can speak up. Because when you are quiet nobody will hear you. You will be useless and no change or growth will come out of you. And I know the last thing you want is to live with regret in your life, wishing and hoping you would of…..

God always encourages us to out to walk in Faith. He also encourage us to be Bold and Courageous. He mentions that many times in the bible. In the book of John 16:33, Jesus says “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. Be Courageous! I have overcome the world.”

It is true what Jesus says, that we will have trouble in life. Some days will be amazingly awesome, while others are just horrible. You must understand that this is part of life but that you aren’t walking alone, unless you choose to.

So think about it right now, what is God telling you?

30 Day Challenge to Renewing of You Mind

Statistics have shown that after 22 days of doing something it becomes a habit. Some habits are good while others aren’t so good but both good and bad habits change your path for your future. I’d like to help you with a habit that you might have and you probably don’t even realize what damage this habit is doing to you or your family. It’s that really cool thing in your living room or bedroom that you steer at and give more attention to then your children or spouse. It robs you from your life and creativity and even adds pounds to your beautiful body. Yes, this is that television that you just bought that’s mounted on your wall like a trophy.

For 30 days, do not turn on your television, actually disconnect it from your wall. And instead go outside for a walk around your block, say hi to neighbors that you have not met yet and read a book, something of value. By doing this it might feel hard for some and others you probably already do this.

I’d like to suggest a book of value, the Bible. This book will change your life if you allow it to. It is the #1 Best Seller for many years and it has transformed many lives. This book has basic instructions on how to live your life according to God’s will. If you don’t have a book, please email me and I will personally send one to you. Start with the book of John in the Bible, it’s in the New Testament. Let me know who it goes for you and if you are interested I can send you weekly devotionals that will allow you to reflect on God’s word.

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is good, pleasing and perfect will of God.

I wouldn’t ignore this if I were you

We are not in war with people, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

Don’t let the wickedness and the love of hate to control your life. It will only steer you in a lost and broken path to destruction and you will not only harm your future but many others.

My prayer to you is that your faith grows and that you seek God deep in your soul and you hunger to spend your days with him asking him for guidance while reading your bible, the book of instructions. God Bless*

Before my husband and I got married we decided to go to premarital sessions for a year. We wanted to make sure before we got married, that we understood how to communicate with each other and that we could work on issues that we didn’t realize we even had. We also wanted to make sure that although we love each other, our goals in life and our needs matched up before we commit to marriage.

I wanted to share with you an exercise we did that helped us breakdown some barriers talk about what really mattered to each of us. These steps will help put priorities in order so when the big decisions in life come up, like buying a home or having kids, making goals together or simply just wanting to understand each other. Here are 4 steps that will allow you to see where you stand personally and together as a couple or even as business partners.

1) Write down the TOP 10 priorities in your life in order.

2) Once you do this ask your spouse or your business partner to do the same.

3) After you both have done this exercise, sit with one another and go over your Top 10 Priorities. Most likely we will have some that aren’t align with each other and that is okay, there is always room for growing and this will open up new conversation to grow into.

4) Now put your Top 10 Priorities together as ONE. Decide together what is important to both of you. (One Body/ One Team)

*Make sure you each have a copy of the TOP 10 Priorities so that you are able to look at it and constantly remind yourself the directions that you choose to grow into.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Maya Rivera Real Estate is Trending to EXPLODE in the next couple of years. The Maya Riveria has been growing quite quickly with a lot of little business and big corporations expanding. This ultimately brings more people to the Yucatan Peninsula to work and enjoy the beautiful living that the Mayan Culture has to offer.

Many people from other countries are noticing that the Mayan Rivera is a sweet spot for a vacation home. It’s much less to rent a condo or home from an owner then it is to stay at a hotel. And as prices are still low, investors are picking up these hidden jewels and renting them out to tourist and making a profit.

The Mayan Rivera offers so many attractions and places to visit on both land and water. From swimming in the crystal clear waters in a variety of beautiful centos or diving in aqua blue water where you can see the most beautiful and gigantic reefs full of sea life. But don’t take my word on it, experience this for yourself.

My lovely husband and I went out for a late lunch and decided to switch it up a notch, from Tacos to Curry. We had been craving some Thai, for some time now but we were didn’t want to take any chances, so we used the Famous Trip Advisor. After ward we got back on our bikes tour the town and got a $20.00 couples massage for 70 minutes. These ladies are very good and they have their business by the ferry, where you take off to Cozumel Island. As if that wasn’t enough, Pete, my husband treated us to a delicious shrimp and octopus cocktail.

Since we have been here for 45 days, we now have our favorite dinner places. As for breakfast, Pete gets homemade meals, made with love from his honey bunny*

I’ve been wanting to blog for a while now, just haven’t really known where to start. I’ve been somewhat confused on how and what I should blog about. I’ve done some thinking and praying and I came to the conclusion that I will be blogging about my relationship with God, my adventures in life, real estate and anything else that might grab my attention at that moment.

I will be blogging a lot while I’m on my amazing 6 month honeymoon with my husband. We recently got married on June 7th 2014 and have decide to go to Play del Carmen for the first part of our honeymoon. You might be wondering, 6 month honeymoon……? Crazy, right? My husband and I decided to take a step and build our businesses while we travel. We figure this is the best time, being that we are newlyweds, no children yet, and eager to go on adventures and meet new people on the way.

Through our honeymoon I will be sharing our journey and some cool videos to keep you connected with what is going on around the world as we set foot in places that are new to us.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”, Jesus said. (Acts 1:8)
